The National Human Rights Commission has issued a notice to the Kerala Government over spate of assaults on political party workers and asked it to file a detailed report in the matter within four weeks.
"In the wake of media reports and complaints of spate of attacks on political party workers and their killings in Kerala, the State Government, through its Chief Secretary and Director General of Police was asked to take effective steps to stop them," the Rights group said in a statement here today.NHRC notice to Kerala govt over spate of assaults on party workers
